Of course, the shopping mall builders were very smart to include a pub for the husbands while the wives went off to shop, my husband couldn't wait to park the car this day, it was Happy Hour at Alcatraz - which meant it was Happy Hour all day, $3 pints.
I went off shopping and came back to find him watching the Superbowl playoffs and enjoying himself, I sat down with my loads of bags (it is SO cheap here!!) and decided it was time for some dinner.. I take a peak at the menu and find they offered Creme Brulee! In a Pub! Glorious!
This was another classic Vanilla Creme Brulee - I found it interesting that most American restaurants just stuck to the original flavour, not seeming to venture very far. I was impressed with the presentation of this dessert considering the clientele and the fact it was a pub! Amazing standards in this place. This classic Creme Brulee tasted much better than anything I had in Vegas, this one was a little too much on the sweet side but not enough to make me shy away from it, the texture was solid and the best part was the sugar on top was not burnt enough that it took away from the taste. We dined here in January 2012.
