One of the very first Creme Brulees that triggered me to start taking photos of these amazing desserts. This dessert was so amazingly presented I almost didn't want to eat it. A co-worker of mine enjoys Creme Brulees and she knew I was on holiday searching around for them, so I took the photo to send to her to tease her and then decided to start taking photos of every one I eat.
My husband and I dined here in January 2012 on our way to the US and I have to say their steaks were very very tasty so it made me excited for the dessert, of course we picked this restaurant because they served Creme Brulee.
Along with the Creme Brulee I also ordered a Don Pedro and it was more amazing than the Creme Brulee! The Meat & Wine Co used Madagascan Vanilla Bean for the Don Pedro and also the Creme Brulee, Madagascar is the natural area where Vanilla Bean grows. I wasn't entirely blown away with the Creme Brulee but most definately the Don Pedro, even though they both had this type of Vanilla Bean in it.
The Meat & Wine Co's menu states the Creme Brulee as "Madagascan Vanilla Bean infused Creme Brulee served with Strawberries and a Tuile biscuit".
While I didn't enjoy the Creme Brulee as much as previous ones (I'd say the egg was a little off, it tasted strangely bitter) it wouldn't stop me from going back there to have another.
